Another come from behind win for the Pilots. After being down 3-0, the Pilots started the come back from there it became a back and forth battle between the Pilots and the Mustangs. As the Pilots lost to the Mustangs in a close battle on Tuesday night the Pilots were out looking for revenge in Thursday nights game.
The Mustangs took an early 3-0 lead, but the Pilots started a rally that included a home run by Duncan Hunter. The Pilots led 4-3, however the game eventually got tied up at 5 and we went into extras. As the Mustangs couldn't get anything going in the top of the tenth and with the new rule that puts two runner on in extra innings the Pilots quickly load the bases. As Jonathan Embry comes up to bat he hits a sac fly out to center field that scores Duncan Hunter from third base and the Pilots win the game 6-5.
The Pilots are on the road today, July 6 at Holly Springs but will be back on the diamond at War Memorial Stadium on Saturday July 7 for county fair night at the park. Come out for a dunk tank and water slide inflatable with first pitch being at 7:05 p.m.
